After completing the installation, you'll receive the following message regarding System Extensions for An圜onnect - you'll need to open Preferences, and Allow the 'Cisco An圜onnect Socket Filter'.You'll see a big green check mark when the installation is complete.

You'll be prompted to enter your credentials to continue the software installation - please enter them, then click 'Install Software'. After accepting the agreement, click on 'Install'. To continue, you'll need to accept the License Agreement by clicking 'Agree'. You'll be presented with the An圜onnect VPN software installer. From here, double-click on the 'An圜onnect.pkg' package to start the installation process. After downloading the macOS installer, head to where you saved it, and open the installer package. If you double click on the An圜onnect client while connected, the window should look like the following: All of your non-UConn destined traffic will be sent through your ISP as if you were not connected to the VPN at all anything that is destined for the UConn Network (e.g Q: or P: Drives) will automatically be sent through the VPN connection. At this point you will be connected to the UConn An圜onnect VPN. Enter your credentials and then click 'OK' You will be prompted to enter your NetID and Password. After this, you'll just need to select 'UConn General VPN' in the future when connecting. You may have to enter ' ' into the text window the first time. Click 'Connect' if the window shows 'UConn General VPN'. Select it and then you will be presented with a window similar to the one below. It should show up with 'Cisco An圜onnect Secure Mobility Client'. Press the 'Start' button on your keyboard or click the 'Start' button on your taskbar and then type 'An圜onnect'. Click Finish to complete the installation. You will see a screen pop-up confirming that you want to allow the application to be installed. Click 'Install' to begin the installation. Choose 'I accept the terms in the License Agreement' and click 'Next >'. Click 'Next >' to continue the installation. Once you locate the installer, double click on it to start the installation. In many cases the file will automatically be downloaded to your 'Downloads' folder. After you click the download button you will need to find and execute the installer.
